AVON TYRES: “MADE IN ENGLAND”

Regardless of how you spell “tires,” Avon makes ‘em. And they’ve been doing it a long time.

This company has its British roots going back to 1885, although it was actually in 1904 when they started churning out tyres for cars and motorbikes, vans and trailers.

Since then Avon has proven itself on the road as well as on racetracks around the world, whether on two wheels or four.

In 1997, global enterprise, Cooper Tire & Rubber Company (headquartered in Findlay, OH), purchased Avon.  So, Avon Tires are now a division of Cooper Tires, and their motorcycle rubber is still made in England.

Avon makes motorbike tires for sport touring, supermoto, for classic motorbikes, custom bikes, and of course for racing.
