HOW ABOUT STARTING YOUR DAY WITH AN EXPLOSION?
If only you and I had our own internal spark plugs that could help us explode into the day. The good news is that those little things can approximate a combustive start for us by doing their job of exploding the gas vapor in our engines to launch us into another escapade of motorbike entertainment.
That sums up the primary function of spark plugs. But to be a little clearer, they ignite the air/fuel mixture within our engine’s combustion chamber and the resulting explosion shoots each piston on its way to generate the power that propels us forward. And they do that over and over and over again. Want ‘em to do it a little faster? Just twist that throttle!
Heck, we even require those spark plugs to work under any operating condition, such as cold, warm, hot, extremely hot or even at very high engine speeds!
And if for any reason they don’t do that, or they don’t do it as efficiently, it’s time to replace ‘em.
