Failing to completely put down your side stand at a local cafe can result in an expensive lunch. And we aren’t even talking about a crash!
Motorcycle frame sliders are cheap insurance. They can be added to many street motorcycles to save the bike’s exposed fairing and other components in the event of the bike going down.
Frame sliders are usually installed on the engine bolts and stick out beyond the fairing on both sides of the bike. When the bike falls, these little protrusions take the brunt of the damage and are inexpensive to replace, saving the owner the cost of replacing the expensive stuff.
