TRAVELING WHEREVER BY MOTORCYCLE

Although one could enjoy a motorcycle as merely a utilitarian form of transportation, what it offers is so far beyond that.

The pleasures of getting out in the world to explore the countryside, the mountains, forests, the desert, along oceans, lakes and rivers, to ride over hill and valley and through canyons, are all various aspects of what constitutes the most satisfying pleasure that motorcycles have to offer.

Regardless of where one lives, he or she has favorite roads, and those roads are part of the fundamental experience that makes riding what it is.

But it gets better.

Traveling farther, and exploring more of the byways within a day’s reach, and then further, just open up a greater sphere of rider enjoyment.

Although I’m biased (I’m a long-distance rider), I would say that cross-continental touring is the ultimate in motorcycle riding pleasure, as the very nature of being out on the road for so long separates one from the “routine” that comprises such an extent of so many of our lives.

Regardless of whether you are going for an all-day ride; a long weekend getaway; or a multi-week, cross-country adventure: motorcycle touring is the heart and soul of what riding has to offer.
