The word “encyclopedia” traces its origin back to ancient Greek times as a reference to general education.
And if you want some books to provide a general education on the subject of motorcycles, there are a number available.
You can get books that cover only Harley Davidson, or go a little broader, and focus on American motorcycles or classic motorcycles, or even military motorcycles. You can get motorcycle encyclopedias that cover the world and history of motorbikes and if you want to really gain a reference for your shelf, you can get a real, multi-volume set of books that comprise a more substantial motorcycle encyclopedia.
