The rise in women motorcycle riders has been accompanied by a great surge in the selection of MOTORCYCLE HELMETS
Of course, there have been women riding motorcycles for a very long time. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were women riders at the dawn of motorcycle history. I met a biker who told me his grandmother rode Harley’s long-distance back in the 1930’s. (And back then, you really needed to be hardy soul to handle the rigors of early 20th century motorbikes).
TYPES OF MOTORCYCLE HELMETS
Nowadays there are four primary styles of helmets:
· Half Helmets
· Open Face Helmets (or 3/4 helmets)
· Full Face Helmets
· A Variation on Full Face Helmets would be Off-Road (or Motocross) Helmets

WOMEN HAVE MORE MOTORCYCLE HELMET CHOICES THAN MEN
Since many women would be just as inclined to wear a helmet that was originally designed for a male, that means that women, overall, have a greater selection of helmet designs to choose from, since most men would probably not buy a pink helmet….
On the other hand, there are probably a number of women that wouldn’t buy a pink helmet either, but I think you get the point that at least the potential number of helmet selections for women is greater than for men.
