SCORPION HELMETS: FEEL THE STING
Scorpion Sports, Inc. makes motorcycle helmets and other powersport apparel and gear. The company was founded in 2004, by Eric Anderson, and is headquartered in Lake Forest, California.
Eric is a well known and respected personality in the motorcycle industry, with numerous adventures riding the Baja 500 and 1000; many years in the motorcycle apparel business; and multi-year experience as Director of the Motorcycle Industry Council Board; as well as a past Motorcycle Safety Foundation rider coach.
Scorpion is unique in the very competitive motorcycle helmet world in that they are co-owners of a helmet manufacturing facility. Whereas, many other helmet brands outsource the production of their helmets.
Scorpion has been gaining greater brand recognition through a series of edgy ads - that feature the crawly kind of scorpions - sometimes positioned on aesthetic young women.
SCORPION MOTORCYCLE HELMET FEATURES

That last one, the air-adjustable cheek pads, is unique. For the Scorpion helmets that have that feature, there are two buttons on the inside of the chin section that control the flow of air. One to increase air pressure, to provide a more secure fit, and the other to release the air pressure, when the rider removes his/her helmet.
